*Blackjack Royal Match Odds MatchHollywood06If you play blackjack that offers Royal Match you got a 23.5% chance of getting 2 cards same suit.(6 decks)
So you got around a 1 in 4 chance of winning. or 75% chance of losing.
When you play blackjack not including pushes its around 50% you win, 50% you lose
So what im wondering is ’if you play the Royal match side bet does that mean your average of losing go’s up to 62.5%’
(75 + 50/2 = 62.5%)
what i mean by losing is you will either lose the royal match side bet or your blackjack hand or possibly both?
So is it safe to say if my logic is right that you should avoid royal match side bet because your chances of losing go up 12.5% compared to only having a 50% chance of losing with straight blackjack?

Make the side bets equal to your $10 blackjack bets, and average losses shoot up to about $20 an hour in 21 + 3, $40 in Royal Match, and $148 in Lucky Ladies. It’s your choice. Me I stick to blackjack. The Royal Match is a side bet in blackjack that is based on the first two cards dealt to the player. The rules of this side bet are quite simple, David. If the player’s first two cards are suited, such as a queen and five of hearts, the player is paid 5 to 2. If the player has a royal match, (a suited king and queen) the bet pays 25 to 1. You want to consider it as part of the overall blackjack game but its a seperate bet and independant of the blackjack game, and I think its best thought of and treated as such- if you want to risk loosing $6.50 of every $100 spent on that spot you can. The reguler blackjack game is one of if not the most favorable game you can play for the loose house advantage- by playing the bonus you take it from arguabily the best to mediocure at best for vigerish
even with pushes tossed out your going to loose more often then win with basic/perfect non-counting strat-- its more like 45/55 if you dont want to count pushes seperate.Blackjack Royal Match Odds Explained’Although men flatter themselves with their great actions, they are not so often the result of a great design as of chance.’ - Francois De La RochefoucauldBlackjack Royal Match Odds Chart
Casino zadar croatia opening. The Royal Match is a side bet in blackjack that is based on the first two cards that are dealt to the players. The rules are pretty simple to understand and follow, if the player’s first two cards are suited, then the player is paid 5 to 2. If the player has a royal match (a king and queen of the same suit) then the bet pays out at 25 to 1. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose your hand since you are paid out on your side bet as soon as the first two cards are dealt.Blackjack Royal Match Odds Match
The casino’s advantage on a Royal Match depends on how many decks the casino is using. The more decks that are being used, the better the odds for the player. If you are playing in an eight-deck game then the house edge is lowest at 6.46%, but if you drop to a six-deck game then the edge increases to 6.67%. Things get worse as the decks are dropped, with four decks raising the advantage to 7.08%, two decks bringing it to 8.33% and worst of all is the single deck game, which stands at a 10.86% house advantage. I have however seen a single deck blackjack game with a 4 to 1 pay table, which would drop the house edge down to 3.77%.
In all my days at the casino though, I have never had the chance to see a side bet offered by the casino that was better than the odds on the game it is based on. Gimmicky side bets normally have a house edge of at least 3%, but can go as high as 76%.
If you want to maximize your time, then stick to the regular games and leave the side bets for someone else who doesn’t value money.
